All our candidates are checked out by us personally. We verify at least two references here in New Zealand verbally and in writing, and do our own full independent New Zealand Police Check. We help them to ensure they have the correct Visa - most New Zealand nannies can now work for a minimum of 2 years in the UK on a Youth Mobility Visa, longer on other Visas. You will be able to chat to some nannies before they even arrive on the phone or internet, others are already in London and available for interviews.
We specialise in qualified and experienced career nannies seeking permanent full time positions both live in and live out, but we also have some lovely parent helpers - young Kiwis who have childcare experience and lots of enthusiasm. We ask for a minimum commitment of 1 year from all of them as we understand that stability is important for families.
One World Nannies has a base in New Zealand and one in London, providing assistance for nannies and parents. We offer a very personal support system throughout the selection process and follow up progress during the placement itself.
Who are we? We are all mothers with backgrounds as wide ranging as bank managers and midwives, we are nanny employers and former nannies! Kiwi's have a tradition of a big 'OE', an Overseas Experience, usually after school or university. One World Nannies provides an excellent chance for young Kiwis to have the 'OE' of a lifetime.
