For an annual registration fee, the agency will provide babysitters and professional nannies for both day and evening work. Hourly rates are competitive. For your total peace of mind, security is top of the list of priorities at Hopes and Dreams. Each member of the team is personally interviewed and reference checked, and is required to have an up to date Enhanced Disclosure Certificate (which is processed through the Criminal Records Bureau). Staff are required to have previous experience in childcare and in most instances, be either off-duty nursing staff, medical students or qualified NNEB nannies or teachers. All our sitters are required to undertake an assessed trial day, working with children in the Nursery School. For your extra reassurance, a detailed profile on each member of staff can be provided should you wish to see it prior to making your booking. All of the Hopes and Dreams sitters are issued with an identity card, which they are required to produce at the beginning of each assignment. Often babysitters can be found at short notice, but it is preferred if you can give as much notice as possible, especially at weekends or over public holidays. First-Aid Training Recently, we have introduced a new scheme whereby all our staff are required to attend an in-house First Aid Course (if they do not already hold their own certificate). This will give parents the added reassurance that our Nannies and Babysitters will be able to cope in the case of an emergency. |
