Child Base is an independent company established in 1989. Its culture is totally child-centred, offering a stimulating and caring environment.

All our nurseries are Ofsted approved and follow a set of principles known as SOUND Foundations which respect the needs and abilities of every individual child in our care.

Highly Qualified Nursery Practitioners

All of our nurseries are run by highly qualified, experienced Managers supported by a Deputy and Third in Charge. All our Qualified Practitioners have obtained a minimum level of NVQ Level 2 or equivalent. Child Base invests heavily in training as well as operating a Modern Apprentice Scheme for Trainees.

Uniquely, the majority of our staff are shareholders in Child Base. They therefore have a personal interest in maintaining the quality, standards and customer satisfaction that is essential to your child's welfare.
