A new nursery in Canning Town is looking to recruit a qualified and experienced Nursery Manager who has attained an Outstanding grade recently or currently working in an Outstanding Nursery of minimum capacity of 70 children

This is a full time permanent position and the successful candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week between the hours of 8am-6pm on a shift rota however you will be expected to work extra hours when needed.

As a manager you will be responsible for theDeputy Manager, Team Leaders, Nursery Nurses, Nursery Assistants, Nursery Trainees, SENCO, Catering and Cleaning Staff, Students and Volunteer and Liase with Ofsted Inspectors, Early Years Development Officers, EHO Inspectors, Health & Safety Inspectors, Doctors, Health Visitors, other Childcare Professionals and external agencies.

  • Minimum 4 years as nursery manager
  • Qualified to a minimum level 3
  • Degree or Leadership and Management qualification (Desirable)
  • Understanding of Ofsted, EYFS, Safeguarding & First Aid
  • Excellent communication skills both written & spoken
  • Passionate about childcare
  • Has worked in an outstanding nursery
