Our Client in Monaco is looking for a well experienced fluent speaking nanny who can start as soon as possible for their 4 children an extra language is a bonus but not essential. This is a busy role in a busy household environment with travelling involved during holidays. Minimum 10 years childcare experience will be required. DBS, First Aid, References, License a bonus but not essential.

The nanny role is predominantly to care for and enable the healthy development process for the families 2-year-old daughter to ensure she has days full of activity and stimulation as well as to prepare her for nursery. You will also play a pivotal role in guiding and working with the families 4 year old daughter for her personal autonomy, educational and character development and their two boys 10 and 8 for their social, educational and behavioural guidance. You will be based predominantly in Monaco with the family but will also need to frequently travel to London, Paris, New York, Los Angeles and various other destinations.

Your living accommodation will be taken care in Monaco you will have your own separate accommodation. Your schedule will be a 5.5 day working week (including weekend cover) which will be flexible according to where the family are but you will always be given time off after a stretch of the time indicated. You will be expected to start work when the children rise (6:45 am on school days) and complete active work at when they go to sleep (7 pm) however you will be expected to be fully responsible for their well-being during your working days even at night if the family are out or travelling. You will be responsible for all of the children’s belongings to ensure that clothes and their school items and toys are in order with the aid of the cleaner, along with the preparation of a healthy diet for them to benefit their development. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the environment is tidy after playing or feeding both children and that they learn to care for their things and clean their areas to teach them responsibility. You will also be expected to take care of your belongings and your personal space to keep it clean though the intensive cleaning will be handled by the family cleaner. You will have to be very organised and well-structured for this role.

The 2 year old sleeps for 2.5 to 3 hours during the day and will be going to nursery school in September half days which will give you more time to prepare meals and activities for the children when they get back home. All three older children have full days at school leaving the house at 7:45am and returning at 4:30/5pm, except Wednesday afternoons when they return home just after 2pm. Your work with four children only applies to 45 minutes in the mornings and up to 3 hours in the afternoon / evening. The evening routine is something that needs to be well managed to ensure proper coordination. Weekends and holidays are an opportunity to assist in building bonds within the four children together who require someone motivated to engage them as a group so they enjoy the time together. Weekday evenings, Wednesday afternoons and weekends there are tutors that step in with the older children and activities that separate them for a large chunk of their time so the little time altogether is precious in building a team spirit and respect within the siblings with each other and you as their nanny. By maintaining the right behaviour as a standard practice, the parents should experience a calm and peaceful experience when caring for all four individually.

You will travel with the family on holiday and occasionally travel for work. The inclusion of stimulating activities that help both children learn and grow will be paramount and should be enjoyable for both you and the children.

The family are very excited and look forward to working with someone who is stimulated and motivated by child development but most importantly having the person be a member of the family as they travel and grow together.

If you are interested in this role we would love to hear from you please do send your CV and we will be in touch.
