Senior Community Support Worker, 40 hours per week, Gosport and Fareham area

You will work as a Senior Community Support Worker for an expanding Community Care organisation who is hiring in response to a rapidly growing client base. The company prides itself on delivering high standards of care to clients with a variety of different needs enabling them to stay independent in their own homes for as long as possible.

Your new role
In your role as a Senior Support Worker you will work under the Registered Care Manager within a team of seniors based both in the office as well as out in the community. You will develop relationships with clients and carry out client quality assurance reviews, service reviews and respond to client queries over the phone. You will assist the manager in leading a team of carers in the community. This role is ideal for somebody who is looking for a combination of office based work and hands on care. You will work 40 hours per week - office shifts will be from 9am-5pm and community work will consist of earlys, middles or lates scheduled in between between the hours of 7am and 10pm. Please note that weekend and bank holiday working will also be required.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Support Worker who is looking to develop and grow with the organisation as they expand. You must have a minimum of 1 years experience working as a Senior Support Worker and hold an NVQ3 in Health and Social Care. Ideally you will have worked as a senior in a community care agency previously but Seniors that have residential experience will also be considered.
